"Babylon of Our Era" (2008) is an action movie with a lot of problems. The plot of the picture, instead of revealing the characters, or the story itself, is getting into more and more problems. Despite the fact that the world of the future is in front of us, we are not provided with any explanation why it looks that way - the concept is not disclosed here at all. The same goes for the main characters.
You can praise the good action, and as always, the cool Vin Diesel, whose hero seems to have created Horcruxes for himself, or is in the matrix with resolution before reboot. Otherwise, I do not know how to explain the vitality of his character. Well, to all this is added a very illogical plot, which raises a lot of questions. I don't know what the novel that served as the primary source is, but the film is some kind of shapeless mass.
My score is 2/5 (3/10). I do not recommend it for viewing.
"Gravity&(2013) is a spectacular and emotional thriller. From the very first minutes, the painting impresses with its brilliance, and does not miss a single scene, not a single angle and opportunity to show the new beauties of space. The actors also undoubtedly managed to attract attention to themselves, they played just great.
The plot is very intense, emotional and filled with quite dynamic action. But certain questions still arise about him. The excellent musical accompaniment also deserves unquestionable praise here. Overall, this is a great story from director Alfonso Cuaron.
"Inferno&"(2016) is a controversial painting. For people who are not familiar with the original source (the novel of the same name) This movie can be a good story with beautiful original locations, cool actors, and a pretty intriguing plot.
And from the point of view of the film adaptation, this is a failure on all fronts. While the first half of the film somehow adheres to the plot of the book, the second half is filled with a bunch of altered and not at all logical, and unnecessary details. But the most important thing here is the changed ending, which completely deprives the film of all the depth of the plot idea that was in the book.
My score is 3/5 (4/10). It's a one-time movie, but I strongly advise you to read the book.
"The Rock" (1996) is a bombastic action movie. The tape captured me from the very first minutes with its gorgeous cinematography and composition, and this is only in the first few minutes. The plot is very exciting, shows an epic and beautifully staged action, and makes you think about the motives and actions of the characters.
Cool and interesting characters are played by wonderful and very charismatic actors, the chemistry between which does not let you get off the screen. I'll also mention the good humor.
